It may sound a bit far-fetched to be able to receive a Reiki session without physical touch or contact. Einstein's theories rocked the world of physics many years ago — basically he stated that energy has no boundaries or limits.

By using a visualization technique and intention, your Reiki practitioner transmits healing energy over long distances as if over an "internet of Light". In this way, the receiver (person, animal, plant, environment or situation) gets the full treatment without being physically present for the session.

Distance Reiki is a wonderful option for animals who are too ill or anxious to have a practitioner in the home, or for clients outside the local service area. Many clients report that distance sessions are equally — and sometimes even more — effective than in-person sessions.
